Originally from Kentucky, Mrs. Carpenter-Porr has lived in Arizona for the past 15 years. She received a bachelor in history from ASU West. Since she was a young girl, she has always been interested in history and traveled with her family to many historical places every summer. She is the world history teacher here at South Ridge. Beyond her interest in the past, she loves to read Stephen King novels and alternative history books. She is also married with a 9 year-old son.
