Mr. Poland is the speech and drama instructor and is active in many clubs such as the film, speech.debate, improvisation and dram clubs.  As the head of the Drama department Mr. Poland has put on a number of theatrical performances for South Ridge including, The Good Doctor, Barefoot in the Park and Dramafest.  As the speech and debate coach, he travels with his students to different competitions around the state.

Mr. Poland graduated from NAU with and B.A. in Theatrical Education with a minor in History Education.  He has a great passion for both theater and history.  Before coming to SRHS Mr. Poland has been a director, actor or stage technician for over 20 theatrical performances and loved doing it.
